PROTECTING NORTH CAROLINIANS FROM IDENTITY THEFT IN THE AGE OF AI
The Secretary of State’s office is outdated and must face the challenges AI presents for fraud. When I’m elected, my office will create a task force to address increasing threats to personal identity security and online scams.
Helping Rural Communities Do Business
I will implement new programs to aid economic development in every corner of North Carolina. Not just by helping to recruit big business and industry, but by delivering tools to help small business grow and new entrepreneurs succeed.

and I will use every resource at my disposal to make
that true in our rural communities and beyond.
The Secretary of State’s office will, under my leadership, use rapidly evolving technology to help small businesses develop with the tools usually reserved for larger, established companies. We will work hand-in-hand with entrepreneurs to give them every possible assistance and a greater chance at success than ever before.
We will engage in uncovering and sharing best practices for business so that zip code has no bearing on business success or job creation.
